Fix Jumpy and blinky page transitions in JQTouch

September 19, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

I was testing my phonegap and jqtouch application in android. But when transmitting from one page to another giving me flickering transition. It works fine in iPhone.

So to resolve I dived deeper into the issue and it seems to be a CSS issue. you need to add  overflow:hidden to the body tag for a smooth transition.

body {  overflow:hidden }

Hope this will help you to resolve the problem

    ou could control the weather by jqtouch css folder has a file called jqtouch.css, which has a field where you can change the speed of effects.

    #jqt .in, #jqt .out {
    -webkit-animation-duration: 250ms;
